Brownie started off life already on the edge of survival. He was an especially tiny kitten, and he was born with only two toes on his right paw. That’s called a “crab-leg” or a “paw of victory”. As a baby, Brownie stopped eating very much food at all. This went on for several weeks, and Brownie lost a lot of weight in that short time.
His loving owners thought that Brownie wasn’t going to make it, but then he started eating again and pulled through! With his spike in eating came a spike in energy.
Brownie was always playing and looking for fun. He turned out to be a lovely and silly cat, just look at this picture with his tongue hanging out.
His owners say that Brownie has a dog personality because whenever they get home, the little guy spends the rest of the night following them around.
Brownie adores people and is always on the lookout for some more human attention. A year has passed, and Brownie has changed quite a bit from that skinny, sad, baby that he started out as.
Look at him now! He’s basically one giant ball of fur. Seriously, how does he even manage to move with all that fluff covering his body? Brownie’s fur is about three times the size of the cat himself.
Luckily for the loving people in Brownie’s life, that makes him absolutely perfect for hugging and snuggling! Brownie’s life has been a bit of a roller coaster, but he’s most certainly in a happy place now, and it looks like he’ll be staying in that place for a long, long time.
